More than 916 firefighters continue battling the Seven Cabins Fire burning northeast of Ruidoso, and new evacuations have been announced; Ruidoso Downs Racetrack has opened its 2026 racing season in Albuquerque, but horse sales will be at Ruidoso Downs this summer; Remember, we only have Memorial Day because a soldier sacrificed their life for the freedoms we enjoy. Honor their memory.
